About one in 1000 babies are born with cleft lip and/or palate, globally. For Asian communities, that number drops down to 1 in 500 children who are born with this birth defect.

Unfortunately, cleft treatment is out of reach for many of those in need around the world, especially for the hundreds of children in Vietnam who are waiting for this life-changing surgery. The procedure only takes about 45 minutes to an hour but the difference it will last a lifetime.
